Minimum Qualifications:
? Master of Science in Engineering required, above Preferred.
? Minimum ten (6) years related work experience required; Minimum five (3) years’ experience in eDS system
level integration of eDS required. Experienced a complete project lifecycle from concept through
production phase.
? Previous management or supervisor work experience; able to manage a team of 3-10 subordinates and
demonstrate sufficient coordination, motivation, delegation of work, and decision-making skills. Able to
manage subordinates to maintain a high level of efficiency while maintaining accurate result/quality
orientation.
? Strong organizational/communication skills to effectively work within Departments.
? External and internal contacts with high degree of diplomacy, judgment and possess ability to deal with and
effectively influence persons in all types of positions.
? High level of analytical ability, understanding of engineering theory, and principles of design.
? Minimum English Level 4, German language is a plus. Must be able to communicate effectively using
English
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the System Engineering team management.
? Responsible for new product concepts and advancement of product portfolio for eDS products for China
market in collaboration with Advanced Engineering and Product management team. Responsible for
breaking down the system requirements to component level (eGearbox, eMotor, and inverter)
? Responsible for guiding the engineering team on eDS development along with system level integration of
eDrives
? Responsible for leading technical items from concepts for “Acquisition Projects” all the way to launch.
? Collaborates with other team members to develop the concept, Package 3D models, detailed design,
simulation, DFMEA, and DVP for eDS.
? Guides team members for carrying out tasks of the system Engineering team.
? Participate in the research and analysis of competitor products, and other product offerings in the
electrification space.
? Maintains proper filing systems to ensure all information are properly stored and easily retrieved
? May be required to work “onsite” at customer locations for different periods of time
? Follow ISO 9001/IATF16949 procedures and assist with audits
? Follows and enforces the guidelines and rules as defined in the Employee Handbook and Company policies
? Comply with the designated Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Health and Safety and
company rules and guidelines
? Accept the ISO14001 Environment system training. Familiar hazard communication procedure
and comply with the requirement of the procedure.
? Observes standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the applicable Chinese Regulatory
Act as well as rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
? Performs other duties as required by Management.
